Germany's next top model?

In Germany a "Next Topmodel"' winner's career usually goes like this: she has to join Günther Klums infamous "model" agency, shows up at any celebrity event, walks Berlin Fashion Week, starts a relationship with a soccer player = becomes some sort of media star, this kind of people you don't really know what they're famous for. On TV they occasionally talk about their very important work and lifes as busy fashion models. From time to time headlines about the super strict clauses of Günther Klum's contracts hit the news, last time this happened after the latest winner, Jana Beller, fought her way out of her contract (and then got signed with Claudia Schiffer and Julia Stegner's mother agency Louisa models, and IMG worldwide).

What the German audience doesn't get to know: there actually are GNTM candidates, who make thier way into high fashion business. And not only Vanessa Hegelmaier (IMG), who dropped out of  GNTM for health reasons (*wink* - rumour has it that she got a call form some bigger agency who advised her to get leave GNTM  for the sake of her career), currently also Alisar Ailabouni (ELITE) who had left Klum already, too, hits the big runways.

After she walked a bunch of shows at London's S/S2012 Fashion Week (The Rodnik Band, Ashish, Jasper Conran, Fashion Fringe...), she can currently be found on New York's runways. And apparently she's even met Terry Richardson - for which reason we don't know yet. I'm excited to see where this is leading her to and wish her all the best! I remember the 22 year old Syrian born from the show as an extremely shy girl and often felt for her,  but I also like her look and I think that she blends in the world of high fashion models perfectly well!
