Yesterday the house presented it’s first collection after Galliano’s shameful dismissal. It is said to be a result of the atelier’s team work without a new head, therefore speculations on who will be the next creative director will still go on. Apparently there wasn't even a regular runway presentation.
To me the collection looks pretty different from what Galliano would have done. It quite reminds me of the sixties’ fashion and pretty much looks like I would imagine a “Resort” collection – fresh and easy without too being too colourful or heavy. A step back to “pre-Galliano” Dior maybe?
