A historical movie about the relationship between psychoanalyst CG Jung, his mentor Sigmund Freud and Jung’s beautiful patient who’s suffering of hysteria, featuring Viggo Mortensen as Freud (should have been Christoph Waltz at first), Michael Fassbender as Jung, Keira Knightley as the patient Sabrina Spielrein and Vincent Cassel. The screenplay was written by Christopher Hampton (Atonement) and David Cronenberg (Eastern Promises) is directing. Sounds promising, doesn’t it?
The movie will be presented at this year’s Venice Film Festival in September (? late August?) and will probably be released in Europe in November 2011.
